Equipping Leaders to Lead Like Jesus
At Journey in the Word, our strategy for equipping leaders is both practical and transformational. The Lead Like Jesus course is designed to help leaders in churches, ministries, and companies embrace a model of leadership rooted in the greatest Leader of all time—Jesus Christ.

APPROACH - Journey in the Word Ministries
Journey in the Word Ministries fulfills its mission, beliefs, and values through the strategic development of Pastor Training Centers, leadership development courses, and sustainable humanitarian aid—all within the local context of the pastors we serve.
- Pastor Training Centers
Pastors will participate in a two-year program consisting of 12 theological and practical ministry courses, held every other month. At the conclusion of each course, participants will receive curriculum they can use to train others in their ministry network. Upon completing the program, pastors will graduate in a formal ceremony. Training centers will be established in under-resourced regions where there is a concentrated need for religious education among pastors. - Leadership Development Courses
These courses are designed to equip both church and community leaders to bridge the gap between faith and everyday life. Participants from religious and business backgrounds will be encouraged to collaborate in finding sustainable, locally-driven solutions that foster community flourishing. - Humanitarian Aid
In partnership with local pastors, we will support community development through targeted aid efforts, including clean water, food, clothing, and job creation. Our goal is to empower communities with resources and tools for long-term sustainability, rather than short-term relief alone.

Journey in the Word Ministries trains leaders in churches and businesses using Lead Like Jesus Encounters. Leadership is vital for church and community health, and under-resourced areas often lack this training. You can help provide critical leadership development to transform communities.
Humanitarian Aid
Journey in the Word Ministries is dedicated to providing humanitarian aid, including food, clothing, and clean drinking water. Many under-resourced pastors come from struggling villages. While the physical needs in our world are vast, the ministry is committed to helping wherever and however we can, guided by the Lord's direction.
Bible Studies
Access a wealth of free Bible study downloads on a variety of biblical topics, including an in-depth study on Romans, devotionals from Acts, and Dr. Craig’s Devotionals and Small Group Bible Studies. These resources are designed to help pastors deepen their understanding and provide valuable material for their ministry, whether for personal growth or for use with their congregation and small groups.
